In conjunction with MHAD on 5/16/24 we are proud to sponsor Mental Health week at Cactus Shadows HS in Cave Creek , AZ. Thanks to an amazing grant we received from The Richard Reed Foundation, we are providing an ASK event for students to pledge to ASK , as well as a Smash Plate activity. The Student Council is organizing all the events that week to promote mental health conversations and action. We are thrilled to be a sponsor! The scheduling of this week of activities is a month prior to MHAD due to the school’s final exam schedule.

The concept of ASK will be explained and each student that pledges to ASK will receive a bracelet that states I Pledged to ASK. The Smash Plate is a way to release feelings or things that are affecting students’ mental health. It is quite therapeutic!
